Seeing only part of pine may not be the best view, but this view does not remove the idea of what you want to continue with the process and decorate. The secret is to bend the branches into shape.
Deciding how much will be used should not be a problem, based on its feet is preferred. If desired a little higher, you can add the tip.
If you want something small you can use the top of the pine, improvising a nailing base or in some empty pot and covering it with decorative paper or moss.
If the pine has not come in parts and no longer want, try putting it behind a table while leaving the bottom hidden. At the table you can put a cloth or a piece of cloth to cover it up the floor.
